Using Two Free Sources To Leverage Online Marketing Trends

Here are two free resources for leveraging online marketing trends and stepping in front of traffic that is on the up-word climb.  The first one that I use is the Google Keyword Planner and the second tool that I take advantage of is Google Trends.  I open them both up in two separate browser windows.  I simply start off with the Keyword Planner and I research for phrases that are in demand or have search volume to them and then the second part is I then past that same phrase into Google Trends and see what that particular phrase is doing.  Now if it is going down don't sweat it to much yet!

Play around with your keywords and phrases and see which ones are trending up.  Pick different area's of your niche. Like sub-niches and drill down your keyword searches and that is how you will find the winners.  Using Online Marketing Trends is a good strategy just to see how the overall picture of that market and niche is doing.  If based on a lot of time and research you have done and haven't really found any upword trends taking place then maybe that particular niche or product is dropping off.  Rather than spend a lot of time into something that is really not growing its is going to be a lot more difficult to get good results.  Follow?  hope so!  You understand and follow this and practice this you can create some pretty easy upfront cash flow for your main business or just use this as your career as a marketer all together.

What Are Online Marketing Trends?

Online Marketing Trends are simply markets and niches that move in a particular direction over time.  We as online marketers of course are looking for upward trends but still paying attention to even what the down trends are saying is very useful information on deciding whether to invest your time and money in marketing a particular product or not.  My opinion is you want something that is going to be around for a little while.  At least a year or so but I want to be careful when I say that because a hot trend that last only for a day or week or month can bring in a surge of traffic.  It's how you monetize that traffic that counts in my opinion while delivering value at the same time.  There is a simple way to finding these online marketing trends or goldmines.

For short on finding these marketing trends is you can go to Google Trends and research your product name or product keywords.  Go to the Google Keyword Planner tool and research for keywords that are in demand.  People are typing!  Take that same keyword and past it into the online marketing trends and make a judgement.  If it is going up well your on to something then.  You can do further research from there.

Of course you want to be able to monetize that trend and make money while delivering value because we are in business and intent to create a profit here so monetizing is very, very important.  The good news is you can monetize your traffic with all sorts of ideas today thanks to the internet.
